Thistle partner Macklin Motors Nissan Glasgow proudly reveal the new DVLA number plate out today – and as you can see it has a very Firhill flavour.
Fittingly for this year, the new “71 plate” is out from today, following on from the equally-apt “21 plate” being on the road since March.
Our 1971 goalkeeping hero Alan Rough joined Paul Jordan, After Sales Manager from Macklin Motors Nissan Glasgow, to celebrate the reveal of the new 71 plate at Firhill.
Alan Rough said: “It’s just absolutely brilliant that the new plate is that magic number, 71, perfectly timed ahead of all our upcoming 50th anniversary celebrations.
“Paul and his team at Macklin Motors Nissan Glasgow have been terrific supporters of the club for a number of years now and I’ll bet there will be a good few Jags fans keen on a car with the 71 plate.”
