Teenage striker Thomas Horn is heading north to Peterhead on-loan until January, subject to Scottish FA approval.
The 18-year-old product of the Partick Thistle Youth Academy, who had a temporary spell with West of Scotland League First Division side Cumbernauld United last season, has been involved with the Jags’ First Team since the start of this campaign, during which time he has made five substitute appearances.
The move to the Balmoor club is designed to aid the attacker’s development by giving him more time on the pitch with Head Coach Mark Wilson saying: “Thomas put in a lot of hard work during pre-season and he did well coming off the bench in the games that he featured in.”
“He now needs to build on that in a very competitive environment which he will get at Peterhead who have a host of experienced players in their squad and who will be looking to make a solid impression in League 1 following their promotion.”
