Alloa Athletic are the visitors to the Energy Check Stadium at Firhill tomorrow as Gary Caldwell’s side look to record consecutive Ladbrokes Championship victories.
Ahead of the clash with Alloa, programme co-editor, Christopher Dobie spoke to Jags skipper Stuart Bannigan as he spoke about the impact Gary Caldwell has had on the Thistle squad.
“It’s only natural that a new manager will try different things to see what works and that’s what the gaffer’s done. Even so, we work on each shape all week so there is a familiarity.
“I’ve enjoyed some of the things he’s tried; it’s a bit different to what I’m used to. For example, the 4-4-2 is something that we haven’t used here all that often so it’s been quite enjoyable. At the end of the day, enjoyable or not, it’s up to us players to adapt to different shapes and tactics to get the results on the park which, we managed last week.”
