Tomorrow’s Matchday Programme

Tomorrow sees Ladbrokes Premiership football return to Firhill for the first time this season. Celtic are the visitors in Thistle second game of the new league season and in the match programme, programme co-editor, Christopher Dobie, speaks exclusively with Stuart Bannigan about his return from injury, midfield partners and more ahead of the evening’s game.

“That’s one of my main aims for this season. To become one of the first names on the team sheet again. Abdul is the captain and will play most weeks, Adam Barton was excellent last year when he got up to speed and even Ryan Edwards put in some good performances when asked to play in a deeper role. Of course, we also have young Andy McCarthy trying to break through at the moment so it’ll be tough to hold down a place but I know that if I keep working on my fitness and keep getting minutes under my belt then I will be on that park week in, week out.”

Read the full and exclusive interview with Stuart Bannigan ONLY in tomorrow’s official matchday programme which will be on sale at the game via our sellers around the ground.
