At this Saturday’s home cinch Championship fixture against Ayr United, Jags For Good are holding a Christmas Donation Drive for Glasgow Baby Food Bank.
Collecting for essential baby supplies or new and unwrapped presents for children of all ages, Jags For Good will be holding collection points outside the Jackie Husband and John Lambie stands on Saturday afternoon.
While Christmas is generally a happy time of year, it can be a difficult one for many families, especially because of the circumstances we’ve lived through over the last twelve months.
In addition to any donations in support of Jags For Good, we are inviting the Red and Yellow Army to turn Firhill into FURhill by donating a Teddy to take part in our pre-match tumble at Saturday’s game. Bring your teddy along to Firhill and throw them onto the Firhill turf, towards Kingsley, five minutes before kick-off. Our matchday staff will gather the teddies, ready to be donated to Glasgow Baby Food Bank to be rehomed for Christmas.
Retail partner, Greaves Sports, will be donating 100 Gordy Teddies which can be picked up within the Firhill concourses, ready to be thrown onto the pitch. Kingsley toy’s can be purchased from the club shop on Saturday for any supporter wishing to show their support, but who may not have time to get a teddy in advance.
It might be a very small gesture but it can make a world of difference to the children and families this festive period. BYOB – Bring Your Own Bear.
