It is two in a row for Partick Thistle Head Coach Mark Wilson after he was selected as the Glen’s Championship Manager of the Month for November.
Wilson was rewarded after a month that had seen the Jags move into joint top spot after wins over Queen’s Park, a St Johnstone side who were looking to establish a nine-point lead at the top and Dunfermline Athletic.
The Maryhill men also showed resilience last month to secure a late draw at Airdrieonians as well as book their place in the Fourth Round of the Scottish Cup at the expense of a plucky Forfar Athletic.
November was already going to be a memorable month for the Thistle man as he and partner Lee-Ann got married with Wilson saying: “I was delighted to pick up my first Glen’s Championship Manager of the Month Award last month and for a second one to arrive so quickly is fantastic.”
“As I said last month the Award is in my name, but it is a reflection on everyone at the club, especially the players who carry the burden and deserve the praise as much as anyone.”
“Along with my assistant Alex Rae we have worked hard at building a strong team spirit amongst the players and with everyone who supports them. I would like to thank everybody for the way they have come together over the recent months.”
