Partick Thistle would like to provide a second update on ticket sales for Friday night’s William Hill Championship fixture against Falkirk at The Wyre Stadium at Firhill.
As mentioned on Monday discussions between the clubs and other agencies were being held and we would advise that we are not in a position to release any additional areas within the ground to Falkirk supporters.
We investigated thoroughly providing additional capacity within other areas of the stadium to away supporters, however this move would have meant incurring police costs which would have far outweighed the revenues generated from the ticket sales.
Partick Thistle are however cognisant of the desire for fans of both clubs to be at the game and have made the following steps to allow more fans to attend including a special offer for our Season Ticket Holders.
By relocating complimentary allocations away from their usual position behind the directors box in The Colin Weir Stand further away tickets have been made available.
These tickets will go on sale at 10.00AM tomorrow (Thursday, April 24) HERE
The two Fanbase purchase policy for home ticket sales will remain in place and that allows fans who are in this category to purchase up to four tickets online up until kick-off. These tickets are available HERE.
At midday today all Partick Thistle season ticket holders, who have agreed to accept marketing information, will receive a unique code by email which will entitle them to purchase one ticket at 50% off up until kick-off.
Details on how to complete the ticket purchase will also be included in the e-mail.
Partick Thistle season ticket holders, who have opted out of receiving marketing information, should contact Fanbase via their App using the ‘Contact Us’ function and they will provide the payment link.
Alternatively an email should be sent to and the club will provide the payment link.
In-person sales up to a maximum of two tickets per customer will be allowed. They can be made subject to a set criteria that includes the presentation of proof of identity and proof of address at the following times and locations
Please note our staff are not permitted to sell tickets to anyone with a postcode starting FK.
Any Partick Thistle supporter who has a postcode starting with a FK, or who is otherwise unable to make a valid purchase as a result of unintended consequences of the above processes, should contact our Supporters Liaison Officer at .
Partick Thistle chairman Richard Beastall said: “There is a lot at stake for both clubs and we recognise the importance of filling The Wyre Stadium at Firhill with as many Thistle supporters as possible for our final home William Hill Championship game of the regular season.”
