Partick Thistle would like to provide an initial update on ticket sales for Friday night’s William Hill Championship fixture against Falkirk at The Wyre Stadium at Firhill.
Tickets for away supporters to use in the Colin Weir Stand were completely sold out late last Friday and the decision was made to pause all sales following a small number of first-time purchases for home areas on Saturday morning that have now been refunded.
The pause has allowed discussions between the safety teams at both clubs to take place over the potential of allocating further areas to travelling supporters. These talks, that also include discussions with other agencies, including the police, remain on-going however it has been agreed to restart the sale of tickets for only home supporters, with a minimum record of two Fanbase purchases from the club this season, this afternoon.
