November was a busy month for Mark Wilson and his players with three league games at our Wyre Stadium at Firhill home producing eight goals and nine points, a never say die approach securing a draw at Airdrieonians and there was also progression in the Scottish Cup at the expense of hosts Forfar.
A 2-1 success was achieved over St Mirren in the Steven Lawless Testimonial Match and now, it is time to decide who will follow Ben Stanway, Ben McPherson and Oisin Smyth as a Seven Wealth Player of the Month winner in Season 2025/ 26.
Here are your nominees
Josh Clarke

A fine spell for the Partick Thistle shot-stopper has been recognised by a third Player of the Month nomination in a row for Josh, who was also called up to the Northern Ireland Senior Squad for a World Cup qualifier in November
Josh’s month started with a clean sheet in the 5-0 home success over Queen’s Park with the Jags remaining two ahead in that match thanks to a fine stop from the on-loan Celtic man after Tyrece McDonell had fired in a long-distance effort.
Whilst Airdrie scored against Thistle a one nil disadvantage could have been more significant had Josh not made crucial saves with his performance providing a platform for Oisin Smyth to secure a late leveller.
A deflected strike saw St Johnstone pull a goal back as they went down to the Maryhill side however clean sheets were secured by Josh as Dunfermline Athletic were seen off 1-0, to make it six points from six in three days, and Forfar’s interest was ended in the Scottish Cup in a 2-0 success.

Aidan Fitzpatrick

Aidan was nominated for his fine performances back in August and another excellent run of form has seen the number 21 nominated again.
The wide-man kicked off the free-kick move against Queen’s Park that produced the opening goal and he also rolled a pass into the path of Oisin Smyth ahead of the late leveller from the midfielder at Airdrie.
Against St Johnstone, Aidan was part of a surprise move that saw Logan Chalmers and him switch things and it was from the right that a low cross from ‘Fitzy’ was turned into the St Johnstone net to give Thistle the lead.
A third goal of the season, and a second in the Championship, for Aidan arrived in the first half against Dunfermline at The Wyre Stadium at Firhill when he cut in from the left and cracked in an 18 yard shot that could only be helped into the Fifers net by their goalkeeper Billy Terrell.
That strike turned out to be the winner!
Aidan, a product of the Partick Thistle Youth Academy, made starting appearance number 23 of the season against Forfar at the weekend meaning that he has featured in every game so far in this campaign.

Luke McBeth

It is a first nomination of the season for Luke who has performed at the heart of the Partick Thistle defence throughout the month. A strong defensive display against Queen’s Park was topped off with his first goal of the season when he nodded in a Steven Lawless cross to complete the scoring in a 5-0 success.
Luke lined up alongside Dan O’Reilly for the draw at Airdrieonians and then played a vital role in helping Thistle over the line when Championship leaders St Johnstone were defeated 2-1.
McBeth and O’Reilly were the central defensive pair again when Dunfermline left The Wyre Stadium at Firhill pointless last week with Luke chosen as the Player of the Match,
It was McBeth and Lee Ashcroft at the back when Thistle entered the Scottish Cup at the weekend as Forfar were kept out and a tie against Montrose in Round Four was secured.

Paddy Reading

A second successive month of nomination for Paddy Reading who started November with a bang when he crashed home the opening goal from 25 yards against Queen’s Park after a well-worked free kick move.
Paddy, who joined the club in the summer from Ayr United, has produced consistently high performances throughout his time at The Jags where he can be depended on to defend bravely and attack strongly.
The 26-year-old was involved high up the pitch before Oisin Smyth grabbed the equaliser against Airdrieonians and was part of the defence that ensured Saint Johnstone would return home without a point and that Dunfermline did likewise.
A half hour substitute appearance at the weekend against Forfar was typically full of energy as Paddy helped keep the Loons attack quiet whilst also taking the game further up the park when he had the chance.
