Abbie Ferns signed for Partick Thistle in October 2024 having had a successful trial period with the club.
A career which started with PTW pathway club Drumchapel, Ferns made her way to Celtic where she spent a number of years making the bench several times as she learned valuable experience around the first team. This experience saw her be named as Celtic’s substitute goalkeeper in their European campaign last season as they lost in the later stages of qualifying.
A loan move to Kilmarnock followed as she played her part in Killie securing 2nd in the SWPL2 last season as they narrowly lost out in the playoffs to Dundee United.
A player with plenty of potential at just 18 year old, she will provide competition to number one Jeni Currie as she signs on till the end of the 24/25 campaign.
