Amy Richardson joined PTW from Celtic in January 2025 in a loan deal until the end of the campaign. Signed from Everton in the summer, Celtic were keen for the Welsh international to get some minutes under her belt as she made the temporary switch across Glasgow.
The young full back possesses great talent and is certainly one for the future. She can play anywhere across the backline but typically occupies the left back position and was a player Brian Graham was keen to bring in to strengthen his defence.
Having received her first full call up in the summer, Richardson already brings that international presence to Thistle and believes she is in the right environment to develop as she highlighted Brian Graham and the coaching staff’s ability to develop a number of young talents as her main reason for joining. Richardson made her debut away to Aberdeen at the start of February as she came off the bench to help secure the clean sheet.
