Brice Ntambwe joined Partick Thistle on the 22nd of August 2018, becoming the Club’s eleventh signing of the season.
The 25-year old holding midfielder came to Maryhill having left Lierse earlier in the summer and signed a one-year deal with the Jags.
Brice began his youth career at F.C. Brussels but made a move to Birmingham City at just 16 years old. He failed to make a senior appearance for the Blues but moved on to RAEC Mons in early 2013. After an enjoyable spell with Mons, he joined Lierse in 2015. He was unable to break into ‘De Pallieters’ first team and left after the club went bust earlier this year.
The Brussels-born midfielder has a strong presence in the midfield with the ability to break up play and dominate aerially. His arrival adds some welcome power to the Thistle midfield ranks.
Ntambwe debuted for the Jags against Greenock Morton on the 1st of September 2018 as he played 75 minutes in a 1-0 win, winning the sponsors’ Man of the Match award.
Contract Expires: May 2019
