Callum has been a revelation since joining the club, initially on loan, in January 2015. After an impressive loan spell, the gaffer moved quickly to tie him up on a longer term deal and he has thrived at left back ever since. He played every minute of the first 33 league games for the club in 2015/16 before suspension and injury denied him a perfect season in terms of selection.
Another strong campaign followed for the defender in 2016/17 as the left-back played over 30 times, scoring once. Booth is now closing in on 100 Thistle appearances.
The ex-Hibernian defender started the Jags’ first three league games of the season but picked up a knee injury in Thistle’s 1-0 loss to St. Johnstone. Callum was forced off the pitch and under further inspection, the injury was significant.
Following a long rehabilitation period, Booth made his return to competitive football on the 20th of January as he started in a 2-1 cup success at Queen of the South, even assisting Conor Sammon’s winner.
Contract Expires: May 2018
