Cara joined PTW ahead of season 22/23 off the back of a very successful spell with Glasgow Women in which her coaches and players player of the season awarded performances rewarded the side with promotion to SWPL1.
Going down as an immediate fan favourite, Cara hit the ground running at Petershill, most importantly netting the winning goal over Dundee United that saw Thistle with a top six finish for the first time.
It was a rather impressive first campaign for Henderson, seeing her take away the top goalscorer, signing of the season and young player of the year awards for her efforts.
Having become a similar face up front, Cara continued to make the number 9 role her own through her next few seasons in Jags colours, being on hand to net a number of important goals against big opposition to see successive top six finishes alongside a first ever national final.
In the midst of her fine form, her season was tragically cut short as she became one of a few Thistle features to suffer an ACL injury, ruling her to the sidelines from April of 2025.
Making a return to light training in late 2026, everyone at PTW look forward to seeing her back on the park, and back scoring goals.
