Chris is another acquisition from the junior ranks when he was plucked from Kilbirnie Ladeside in the summer of 2009. Chris bagged a double on his debut and proved to be a creative influence as the side continued to improve in the First Division. His strongest season came in 2012/13 when he was one of the strong contenders for Player of the Year in the entire division as he fired in spectacular, crucial goals as the side won the division. His form caught the attention of other clubs and he joined Dundee United in the summer of 2013, but he was soon back on loan at Thistle to help the side stay in the division. A strong season with the Arabs followed in 2014/15 before injury prevented his campaign getting off to a strong start the following year. In January 2016, he signed a pre-contract agreement to return to Maryhill and he joined up with his new teammates for pre-season.
