Colin fulfilled a life long dream when he signed for the Jags on a one year deal in July.
A proven winner, Colin’s footballing highlight is being part of the victorious Bearsden Academy side which scooped the prestigious Glasgow Schools Cup in 1992/93, mirroring the success of the Jags who won the final edition of the Tennent’s Sixes in the same campaign.
Colin, who is now based in Doncaster, works as an Area Veterinary Manager for PSDA, the UKs leading veterinary charity. Colin is dedicated to the prevention of illness and disease in pets, educating pet owners about their responsibilities and getting sick and injured pets back on their paws.
Colin, cheered on by his partner Pippa, daughters Megan and Eve and stepson Charlie, completed the London Marathon a few years ago, raising funds for his work. He endeavours to do something every year to give something back to them.
Despite the lengthy commute between his South Yorkshire home and Thistle’s training base at Garscube, Colin remains ready and willing to contribute to the Thistle cause whenever manager Alan Archibald needs him in the squad.
