Harry Milne signed a two year deal with Partick Thistle in 2022 after penning a pre-contract agreement.
The 25-year-old left-back joined the club from Cove Rangers where he had been since 2015 as the Balmoral Stadium side shot up from the Highland League to a League One title win.
Milne was an integral part of Paul Hartley’s side in his last season at Cove, playing 37 times, scoring six goals and playing a part in 15 clean sheets as the Wee Rangers secured promotion to the cinch Championship for the first time in their history.
The former Aberdeen youth player’s contribution were rewarded with the coverangers.com Player of the Year award as well as the club’s Players’ Player of the Year award.
The recognition wasn’t just in-house either with the defender being nominated for the PFA Scotland cinch League One Player of the Year award alongside two of his teammates.
Harry debuted as a Thistle player in a Premier Sports Cup tie against Kilmarnock with expectations high and the full-back did not disappoint, standing out at Rugby Park as Thistle won a bonus point on penalties.
He ended his debut campaign as a Jag having appeared 37 times, scored five goals and assisted five more.
His season was cruelly cut short by a hamstring injury sustained against Inverness in March 2023 but he made his return to the team on the opening day of the following season, scoring the opener at Peterhead in the Viaplay Cup – the first competitive goal of the 2023/24 term in Scotland.
