On January 21st 2019, Partick Thistle completed the signing of 21-year-old defender, Jack McMillan on a six-month loan deal.
He joined from Livingston to provide further competition in the Thistle backline with a good amount of match experience; both in the Ladbrokes Championship and the Premiership.
Jack began as a youth player with Motherwell and he made his senior debut with the Fir Park side back in October 2016. He would go on to make 14 appearances for the Steelmen in Scotland’s top flight before moving to hometown club, Livingston, on loan in the summer of 2017.
While at Livi, he played 15 games and contributed to seven clean sheets with his loan move being made permanent in January last year.
During the first half of the 18/19 campaign, McMillan turned out 11 times for the Lions helping the Lothian side to six clean sheets and six wins.
He debuted as a Thistle player in a 2-1 win over Queen of the South in January, operating as a centre-half alongside Steven Saunders.
Loan Expires: May 2019
