
One if not the biggest names in Scottish women’s football, Jo joined the Jags having made the short journey along the Petershill corridor from Glasgow City ahead of the 25/26 season,
She joins Thistle holding the title of Scotland’s most capped outfield player of all time, racking up 191 caps over her 17 year tenure on the international stage.
The creative midfielder began her career with Kilmarnock before heading out overseas to USA based outfit Cocoa Expos. A return to the UK saw a spell at Doncaster Rovers Belles before she made her way back home, stopping off at Celtic before making Glasgow City her home in 2011.
During her 14 seasons at Petershill for City, Love notched just shy of 300 appearances and lifted 21 trophies including 11 league titles alongside featuring in the squad that twice reached the Champions League quarter-finals.
Bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to a developing Jags side, she has proved as ever vital to Gary Holt’s side since penning the contract in the summer, netting important goals that has seen her rewarded with a host of team of the week appearances.
