Jordan is a left-sided centre-half with over 100 senior appearances under his belt despite being just 23 years old and the Wiltshire-born defender joined Thistle on the 31st of July 2017 from Coventry on a one-year loan deal.
Before joining Thistle, Jordan had been at three clubs. He started his professional career with Southampton after spending time in the English Premier League side’s academy and while with the Saints, he had two very successful loan spells with Swindon Town, the other side he spent time with as a youth player. His performance’s there won him the Robins’ Player of the Year award.
He comes to Thistle off the back of a relegation season with Coventry City and will no doubt be looking to prove himself in a different environment as he comes to play in Scotland for the first time.
He made his Jags debut in the team’s 3-0 cup win over St. Johnstone putting in a great first performance as Thistle cruised into the quarter-finals and he’s been an important part of the squad ever since, in the starting line-up or on the bench.
The Englishman has played primarily at centre-half for Thistle but has filled in at left-back when called upon. Jordan started and played a key role in earning Thistle’s first league clean sheet of the season as they fought to a goalless draw against Hamilton at the SuperSeal Stadium. He then had a similarly important role in Thistle 1-0 win over St. Johnstone the following game as they made it two clean sheets in a row for the first time of the competitive season.
