Mason is a product of the Thistle Weir Youth Academy who joined in 2015, eventually progressing into the first team in 2021 when he signed his modern apprenticeship deal.
The goalkeeper has spent time out on loan with Gretna and Benburb among others, gaining some first team experience while also working with the Thistle goalkeeping group, led by Kenny Arthur.
In summer 2023, Mason signed a new two-year professional contract with the club.
