Matthew Falconer signed his two-year modern apprenticeship with Partick Thistle on Thursday, 31st October 2024.
The dynamic midfielder joined the Partick Thistle Youth Academy as an 11-year-old and developed into a regular goalscorer and captain for the Under 18s before making the step up to first team level.
His senior debut came in February 2024 when he came on as a second half substitute in a 1-1 draw with Airdrieonians at The Wyre Stadium at Firhill.
The following season he got the chance to go to Linlithgow Rose as part of a cooperation agreement, made his first Thistle start in a KDM Evolution Trophy tie against Inverness and signed a new two-year contract with the club after winning Under 19s Player of the Year.
