Goal machine is really the only way to describe Mhairi Hawksworth who is the focal point of the Thistle attack and had notched 15 times by the mid-season break. Hawksworth plays in the mold of a classic centre forward, bullying defenders with her power and physical presence.
Voted Most Valuable Player at the 2015 Partick Thistle Player of the Year Event, Mhairi wasn’t always a striker and actually started her career as a goalkeeper, before moving through defence, into midfield and eventually finding her strongest position up front.
