Casper Nilsson signed for Partick Thistle on 12th August 2024 on a season-long loan deal from Brighton and Hove Albion.
The 20-year-old right-back, originally from southern Sweden, joined the Seagulls from Malmo at the age of 16.
He featured regularly in Premier League 2 after moving to East Sussex and also played his part in the Brighton academy side’s 2023/24 run to the quarter-finals of the EFL Trophy.
His play in the youth ranks for Albion earned him opportunities to train with the first team squad as well as call-ups to Sweden’s under 17, under 19 and under 21 squads.
