Sean McArdle signed for Partick Thistle on a season-long loan deal from Celtic on Wednesday, 1st October 2025.
He arrived in Maryhill having been a regular for the Celtic B side since signing a professional contracts with the Hoops in 2023.
His performances in the Lowland League led to him being given his senior Hoops debut when he came on as a substitute against Hibernian in May 2025 at Celtic Park – he would make another appearance off the bench the following midweek against Aberdeen at Pittodrie.
Sean’s Thistle debut would also come as a substitute when he came on during the second half of a 1-1 draw with Arbroath at The Wyre Stadium at Firhill.
