Terry Ablade joined Partick Thistle from Fulham on a season-long loan deal on Friday, 23rd August 2024.
Ablade, primarily a striker, began his career at FC Jazz in Finland, breaking into their first team set-up at the age of 16.
Not long thereafter Terry was scouted and signed by Fulham, joining up with their under 18s squad initially with his performances there earning him a promotion to the under 23s and a new contract a couple of years later.
The 22-year-old arrived with previous loan experience at EFL League One level for AFC Wimbledon and Carlisle United making a total of 28 appearances across those two temporary switches.
Terry’s first impression was an excellent one as he scored on his debut in a 2-1 defeat to Falkirk at the Falkirk Stadium.
His only other goal for Thistle also came against the Bairns albeit as part of a more positive final result – he score a 97th minute winner in the penultimate game of the league season, a result which proved crucial in the team’s qualification for the play-offs.
In total, Ablade made 28 appearances for the Jags during his time on loan.
Loan expires: Summer 2025
