Kerr McInroy signed with Thistle on a season-long loan from Kilmarnock on 3rd August 2023.
A former Celtic youth player, McInroy’s senior career began while on loan with hometown team Dunfermline; he made 22 appearances for the Pars during the 20/21 term as they finished fourth in the Championship.
The following season brought further loan moves at Airdrieonians and Ayr United where he scored six times in 26 games across the two spells, earning him a move to Rugby Park.
He made his debut for Derek McInnes’ side as a late substitute against Thistle in the Premier Sports Cup before going on to score his first Killie goal against Montrose three days later.
Kerr made his first appearance in Jags colours on the opening day of the 23/24 cinch Championship season, playing a part in both of Thistle’s goals as they drew 2-2 with Raith Rovers at the Wyre Stadium at Firhill.
He quickly became a key part of the Thistle midfield with a goal or an assist in five of his first six league appearances for Kris Doolan’s side.
