Rachel Donaldson joined PTW in February 2022 after her departure from Celtic.
Becoming an immediate fan favourite, Donaldson played every game until the end of the 21/22 campaign before showing her commitment by becoming the first player to sign on for the 22/23 season.
Finishing as our second top scorer after being pipped by Cara Henderson in the latter
stages, Donaldson won our goal of the season for the 22/23 campaign for her strike against Motherwell. Many fans joked that there should have been an individual award for Donaldson purely for her wonder strikes having taken up over half of the nominations.
Deciding to continue her career at Petershill Park, our number 12 agreed terms to stay until the end of the 23/24 season and, despite her injury struggles in the early stages, has not looked out of place whatsoever having contributed many key moments including the winner away against Dundee United in the only goal of the game.
