Rebecca McGowan joined Brian Graham’s Jags in September 2021 from St Johnstone off the back of a season that saw her win the SWPL 2 side’s Players’ Player of the Season award.
She quickly established herself as a key member of the team with her energy and hard work ensuring that no opposing midfielder experienced an easy game when she was on the pitch.
Bex also showed her quality going forward with three goals to her name in her maiden Thistle campaign including a go-ahead goal in our 3-2 league win over Hibernian and an extra-time winner against Boroughmuir Thistle in the Scottish Cup.
Overall it was a successful debut season as a Jag capped off by winning the club’s Player of the Season award.
