Ricco Diack made the step-up to the Partick Thistle first team on 13th July 2023 as he signed his modern apprenticeship alongside fellow Academy graduates Jamie Taggart and Sallu Turay.
The striker, son of former professional footballer Iain Diack, had already made his first team debut at that point having come on as a substitute against Hamilton Accies in January 2023, however, that wasn’t followed by any more appearances during the 2022/23 campaign.
His first full season with the senior squad saw him play 19 games and score three goals, the first of which came seven minutes into his first start in professional football as the Jags beat Airdrieonians 2-1 at the Wyre Stadium at Firhill.
Having turned 19 in May 2024, Ricco signed his first professional contract with the club as he committed himself to the Jags until 2027.
