On 7th January 2022 Partick Thistle confirmed the signing of Robbie Crawford from Motherwell on a six-month contract subject to Scottish FA clearance.
Crawford was brought to Maryhill by Ian McCall who he had previously worked with at Ayr United.
All-in-all the midfielder spent seven years in the first team at Ayr playing over 200 times before eventually departing for Livingston in 2019.
Time spent with the Lions and then Motherwell in the Premiership preceded his move to Firhill where he would make 20 appearances in half a season with the Jags.
He scored his first goal in Thistle colours in the first leg of the cinch Premiership play-off quarter-finals against Inverness.
Robbie left the club in the summer of 2022, joining fellow Championship side Greenock Morton where he went on to become a mainstay under Dougie Imrie playing 83 games across two seasons as the ‘Ton achieved a pair of fifth-placed finishes.
Crawford agreed to re-join Partick Thistle on a pre-contract agreement in 2024, signing back at the Wyre Stadium at Firhill on 23rd May.
