Rosie Slater arrived at Petershill Park during the 2021/22 side as a loanee from Rangers and immediately secured herself as a regular within the Thistle defence.
Slater would only build on this during the 22/23 campaign as she continued to impress across the back line.
The 23/24 season would be a breakout year for the defender, making the centre back position her own alongside captain Demi Falconer as they became one of the most formidable partnerships in the league. Scoring her first goal in red and yellow away to Aberdeen, Slater would return the favour in the home fixture against the Dons before scoring arguably the most important goal in Thistle history as she struck from distance against Hibernian in the Sky Sports League Cup semi final.
Still only 20 years of age, Rosie’s determination and commitment is second to none. The Slater family are well known around Petershill as her mum rattles her tambourines proudly every matchday.
