Scott Tiffoney initally joined Thistle on a short term loan deal from Livingston in March 2021.
The winger ended up starting in the Jags’ Scottish Cup tie against Conwdenbeath just hours after his arrival had been announced, marking his debut with an assist. He would go on to score a double in his first league game for the Club, against Airdrieonians at the Penny Cars Stadium.
Scott managed a goal or an assist in each of his first seven starts for the Jags; a run which included key moments such as his last-minute equaliser at Bayview and the assist for Zak Rudden’s deadlock-breaking goal against Clyde.
Further contributions followed after the League One split with his late equaliser against Cove Rangers providing Thistle with a chance to win the title two days later against Falkirk when he was on the scoresheet once again in a 5-0 win.
On June 2nd 2021 Scott made his loan move permanent, signing a two-year deal as a bona fide Partick Thistle player and he made a good start to his second stint as a Jag, scoring an 85th minute winner on the opening day of the league season against Queen of the South.
He finished the season with five goals and five assists in 29 league matches which earned him a nomination for the PFA Scotland Championship Player of the Year as well as a place in the PFA Scotland Championship Team of the Year.
Contract Expires: Summer 2023
