The Thistle Weir Youth Academy currently run six sides from under 11s to under 17s in the Club Academy Scotland set up and has well established grass roots teams starting from four years old. In addition to the grassroots and pro youth levels the women’s team also fall under the Thistle Weir Youth Academy bracket.

The Academy provides the link from the local community into top flight national football.

The Thistle Weir Youth Academy aims to provide the required knowledge, guidance, facilities and encouragement to enable footballers to maximise the opportunities available to them.

The Thistle Weir Youth Academy was set up in 2013 and is supported by Chris and Colin Weir.
