Following a comprehensive recruitment process, we are pleased to confirm the appointment of Jordan Cleland who has joined the club as the new Lead Physiotherapist.
Jordan arrives at Firhill to lead the first team medical department and will undertake duties in the development and organisation of the assessment, treatment and education of the first team squad.
Jordan holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy and arrives from Dundee United, where he has spent the last 18 months, holding extensive football experience having worked at a number of clubs including Albion Rovers and Alloa Athletic.
As Jordan arrives in Maryhill, current physiotherapist, Katy Stanton, leaves the club to take on a new role in her career.
Katy arrived at the club in August 2017 as our Reserve Physiotherapist progressing to First Team Physiotherapist during the 2018/19 campaign.
Partick Thistle would like to place on record its recognition for the hard work and dedication Katy has shown over the last three and a half years, especially in testing conditions during the past 12 months.
Manager Ian McCall said: “On behalf of everyone at Thistle, I’d like to thank Katy for all her hard work while at the club and wish her the very best for the next chapter in her career.
“The appointment of Jordan is brilliant news for the club – we’re all really excited to be working with him. He’s been in and involved with the club for a couple of weeks now and I’m sure he’s going to prove to be a really positive addition to the team here.”
