Rev. George Cowie (born 1963), who grew up in Jordanhill, attended Glasgow University in the 1980s. He sadly passed away in December 2021. Before his illness, he would follow the Jags with his son Graeme. Even when the football was a bit grim, visits to Firhill (and “away days” up at Pittodrie when he worked in Aberdeen) were always an opportunity to catch-up with old friends like Adam and Muir. George will be sorely missed by family and friends, especially his Dunfermline-supporting wife Marian.
