With pre-season training less than a fortnight away, Alan Archibald has managed to secure another of his out of contract players for the forthcoming campaign.
Midfielder David Wilson, who will turn 22 in September, has agreed a one year contract extension which will see him remain at Firhill for the next 12 months.
David made his debut for Thistle on 1st January 2014 as a late substitute in a fixture against Celtic and has since gone on to feature 19 times for Alan Archibald’s side.
Last season saw the youngster make 12 appearances for the first team in the heart of midfield, starting each of the last two SPFL Premiership fixtures of the season.
All at Firhill look forward to watching David’s continuing progress over the 2016/17 season.
The club can confirm that Frederic Frans, Paul Gallacher and Gary Miller have rejected contract offers and will be playing their football away from Firhill in the 2016/17 campaign. All at Partick Thistle thank them for their efforts for the club and wish them well in their future footballing careers.
