After a mostly successful year of friendly games and tournaments, the Partick Thistle FFIT team turn to Europe this Saturday with a friendly game against the High Valley Veterans from Sweden.
The Swedish team are in town for 4 days, and will be taking in this Saturday’s SPFL clash at Firhill. Before the first team kick off though, the Swedes will take on the Thistle FFIT legends in a 10am kick-off at Glasgow Green. Any Jags fans who wanted to see a slightly slower paced game involving a team in red and yellow should come along and support the FFIT lads.
The FFIT scheme is back this year with the 12 week programme for both male and, for the first time, females. The aim is to provide a community based healthy living and weight management interventions. Each class is delivered at Firhill Stadium and provides exercise guidance, support and nutritional information by an exercise professional.

The previous programmes have not only resulted in a lot of weight loss, but it has improved several aspects of the previous participant’s lives.
Male Programme:
The 12 week journey begins, for males between 35 and 65, on Monday 26th September, at Firhill Stadium between 6.30pm – 8pm.
Female Programme:
On Thursday 29th September, females between 35 and 65 can start their 12 week programme at Firhill Stadium between 6.30pm – 8pm.
