It’s a return to Ladbrokes Championship action this week at the Energy Check Stadium at Firhill as Dundee United come to Maryhill. It’s a chance for Thistle to build on the confidence gleaned from Monday night and get the league form back on track with a win.
Ahead of the clash with United, Jags January signing, Ally Roy, spoke for this week’s feature interview, as he talked about his career to date.
“I’d wanted to be a footballer for as long as I can remember to be honest. It’s one of those things that I can’t imagine my life without. It starts the same for most people though I think; kicking the ball about in your garden as a little kid but for me from there I just kept pushing myself, playing as much as I could and I’ve been privileged to have the chances I’ve had in my career.
“Just about every child I grew up with wanted to be a footballer and hardly anyone makes it to first team football. I realise how lucky I am but it’s down to hard work too. All I want to do is perform as well as I possibly can and do everything in my power to help the team.”
