Colin Vetters was 55 years old when he died last week after a short illness , he was a familiar face around Firhill and on the clubs’ travels around Scotland. The Partick Thistle ethos was also very much Colins; tolerance , fair play and a passionate belief in the ability and power of the underdog to succeed were all at his very core. He always focussed upon the social enjoyment of meeting his friends and family when watching the Thistle and his continuous good humour, empathy and quiet commitment to the Thistle cause will be what’s most missed about following the Jags in the warm company of Colin.
