Partick Thistle 1-0 Hibernian Att: 18,000
After three tight games, it’s a goal from Robert McFarlane that puts Thistle into the fourth round of the Scottish Cup where we will play East Stirlingshire. In difficult conditions, Thistle had the best chances but it wasn’t until the 65th minute that McFarlane headed home a cross to give Thistle a narrow victory. McFarlane could have made the result more emphatic soon after but Hibs keeper Harper saved his penalty.
