In our latest 1971 celebration announcement, we are proud to confirm that a new book “1971 – What A Sensation!” chronicling our Scottish League Cup success is coming soon.
Written by lifelong Jags fan Lorne Gardner, the book – published by JMD / DB Publishing – features interviews and insights from every Thistle player who took to the pitch on that famous day on Saturday, 23 October, 1971. It also includes a special section detailing the memories of dozens of Thistle fans who attended the game, one of the most unforgettable 90 minutes in Scottish football history.
