Join the matchday team at Thistle

There are currently a number of exciting voluntary and paid positions available within the Club’s matchday team. Anybody interested in any of the below positions should send a CV and covering letter to  .

Videographer

The Club is looking for a videographer to join the media team.

You’ll work as part of a hard working team to produce high quality footage for use on the club’s JagZone channel as well as social media platforms.

This position would suit a student who is interested in a career in TV / Film / Radio / Events production.

Experience preferred but full training will be provided. Please provide a short sample of your previous work when applying.

The successful candidate will be required to work at all home and away first team fixtures. Transport will be provided to all away fixtures

This matchday role is a paid role.

Programme sellers

The Club is currently looking for individuals to join the programme selling team. Programme sellers are a key part of our matchday team and will be selling copies of the official matchday programme around Firhill.

All programme sellers receive a free ticket to the match.

50/50 sellers

The Club is currently looking for individuals to join the 50/50 half time draw selling team. 50/50 sellers will be located around the ground, selling tickets for the half time draw.

All 50/50 sellers receive a free ticket to the match.

Crowd Doctor

Partick Thistle Football Club currently has a vacancy for a Crowd Doctor position to join the operations team and provide match day medical cover at The Energy Check Stadium at Firhill.

The Crowd Doctor will report to the Chief Executive and work alongside the Safety Officer and St Andrew’s Ambulance staff.

Duties will include, but are not limited to;

  • Provision of emergency medical cover for the crowd at matches at the stadium.
  • Development and implementation of medical best practice policies and procedures, including the Emergency Action Plan(s).
  • Undertaking CPD as prescribed by the SFA, The SPFL and the Club.

The ideal applicant will have experience as an event doctor and be fully conversant with the duties involved. The candidate must currently be registered with the GMC in pre-hospital (immediate) care and major incident management, and it is important for the successful applicant to possess suitable medical indemnity insurance. Completion of the Immediate Medical Care “Crowd Doctor” course by the Faculty of Pre-hospital Care (Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh), or an equivalent, would also be desirable.

This role requires flexibility on Saturday afternoons, midweek evenings and public holidays with attendance at all Partick Thistle first team home fixtures. Fixtures are subject to change due to television selection.

The successful candidate will be supported by the Club through CPD and two season tickets for the upcoming campaign will be provided.
