Loan Extension: Lee Hodson extends loan for rest of season.

Partick Thistle FC are pleased to announce that Lee Hodson’s loan from Kilmarnock has been extended until the end of the season, subject to Scottish FA clearance.

Lee’s time at Firhill was due to end this week but an agreement has been reached to keep the 31-year-old at the club for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign.

Over the course of the first half of the season, Hodson has made 17 appearances in red and yellow and scored one goal having made his debut against Queen’s Park in August.

The number 16 has featured in a few different roles for Ian McCall’s side including both full-back positions and central midfield.

Thistle manager Ian McCall said:

“It’s great that we’ve been able to sort this deal out. It was one where we wanted to keep Lee and Lee wanted to stay so it made sense for everyone.

“He brings a lot of experience to the group and also covers a number of different positions which is always a bonus. That versatility has already been useful this season and he’s done very well wherever we’ve asked him to play.”
