Partick Thistle FC is today thrilled to announce that its partnership with O’Neills and Greaves Sports has been extended by a further three years, to the end of season 2025/26.
Kit supplier O’Neills and retail partner Greaves Sports joined forces with the club in 2020, since providing a vast range of very popular merchandise for Jags fans, from first team kits and training wear to leisurewear and gifts.
The existing partnership between the three parties was already in place to the end of season 2022/23 however this has now been extended by a further three years, with Thistle mascot Kingsley paying a visit to O’Neills Strabane HQ in Northern Ireland this week to celebrate the new deal.
Partick Thistle chief executive Gerry Britton said: “Our partnership with O’Neills and Greaves Sports has been fantastic for the club since day one so it really was an easy decision for us to extend by a further three years. It was a pleasure to join Kingsley and Greaves Sports in visiting the O’Neills production facility in Strabane, meet the excellent staff and see first hand the craft that goes into each and every strip made. Thistle supporters have loved what O’Neills and Greaves Sports have produced so far and we’re confident this will continue into next season and the years ahead.”
Paul Berry from O’Neills Sportswear commented: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Thistle for a further three years. It’s a testament to the hard work, attention to detail and forward planning that has made this partnership a success for all involved. We look forward to working together and create a fantastic range of replica and leisurewear kit for the Jags faithful”.
Miller Greaves, director of Greaves Sports, said: “We’re really pleased to extend our partnership with Thistle, alongside O’Neills, off the back of a very positive couple of seasons. The reaction of supporters to the wide range of products available has been excellent and we hope we can continue to surprise and delight Jags fans with what comes next.”
The first of the new men’s first team kits for season 2022/23 will be launched and available to purchase by the end of next week.
