Saturday saw another hospitality sell-out in the Alan Rough Lounge as almost 200 Jags fans celebrated our home victory with fine food, drink and entertainment throughout the day.
Themed as Purple Thistle Day by match sponsor Just Employment Law, raising funds for and awareness of Pancreatic Cancer Action Scotland, it was an action-packed afternoon from start to finish.
Team news with Alan Archibald, interviews with Gary Harkins and Gregg Watson, a customary appearance by Kingsley and – in a Firhill first thanks to three Icelandic guests – rousing thunderclaps before and after the game, the day really did have everything. Post-match presentations by Just Employment Law, matchball sponsor Morris and Young and captain sponsor – the birthday twins Margaret Tipping and Janet Morrow –
alongside captain Aaron Muirhead and man of the match Harry Milne capped the perfect day.
