Preparations are continuing for Saturday’s cinch Championship opener against Queen of the South. The club can provide the following update on ticketing arrangements for Saturday’s fixture.
Currently, Saturday’s match will be open for 2,000 Partick Thistle 2021/22 season ticket holders. The club is currently in discussions with Glasgow City Council about the possibility of increasing our capacity for this fixture.
As we close in on 2,000 season ticket holders, we would like to clarify that all season ticket holders who have already purchased their season ticket will be invited to attend Saturday’s match. Supporters who purchase their season ticket after the first 2,000 will get access to a live stream of the match unless we can accommodate an increased attendance for this fixture.
Our office team are currently working through all the seating group requests and will provide update seat information to all supporters between Thursday 29th July and 10am on Saturday 31st July. This information will contain your seat number for Saturday’s game. We are working hard to ensure as many season ticket holders as possible can sit on their designated season ticket seat. For a number of Thistle supporters this will not be possible. This will allow us to comply with social distancing requirements as well as satisfying track and trace requirements as part of our licence to welcome supporters at Firhill. We thank all Thistle fans for their patience, co-operation and understanding.
Any Thistle season ticket holder who would like to be seated with more supporters(up to a maximum of 15) please inform us as quickly as possible by or leaving a message on the office answerphone.
If you are a Partick Thistle season ticket holder who is due to be self-isolating on Saturday, or who develops Covid-19 symptoms between now and matchday should not attend Saturday’s fixture. In this event, please contact to update us. We will de-activate your season card for this fixture and provide access to the live stream of the match.
Regardless of the allowed capacity on Saturday, no away supporters from Queen of the South will be permitted to attend this fixture. A live stream will be available to purchase for this match priced at £12.
All physical season ticket cards have now been posted to supporters.
