Jags fans have a new and unique opportunity to play for Partick Thistle at Hampden – by becoming the first ever signings for the club’s official eSports team.
The eScottish Football Cup is coming to the National Stadium in May, and we have two places available for supporters to represent the red and yellow against fans of rival teams across Scottish football.
To qualify to play FIFA for Thistle, you need to be 16 or older and available to play in our trial event at Firhill on Monday, 10 April. That’s the afternoon when Thistle and eRena Sports will host a FIFA tournament to elect our two representatives.
We’ll run two qualifying tournaments on Monday, 10 April;
The two champions who qualify to represent Thistle at the eScottish Football Cup will be gifted a special PTFC eSports top courtesy of Greaves Sports and O’Neills and must be available to play on the 20th and 21st May at Hampden Park in Glasgow. Please do not enter if you are unavailable on these dates.
To be in with a chance of playing in our FIFA 23 qualifiers at Firhill, please email an application letter, providing FIFA prowess, team and your reasons “why you should be picked.” Players are encouraged to send in their Division Rank, FUT23 Ultimate Team Squad, any past tournament wins / finishes to prove prowess on your application.
Applications should be sent to the club no later than Friday 31st March and all applicants will be informed by Tuesday 4th April.
The FUT23 Players must own a Next-Gen Console(PS5 or Xbox Series X).
About the trial tournament:
A 32 Player tournament, over a half day to select the best FIFA23 UT player and best FIFA23 Classic player (plus reserve).
16 players will use their personal FIFA 23 Ultimate Team against their rivals and will face a pure knockout tournament. These players will have a single console, screen and desk. These players must bring their own next gen console and controller to Firhill.
16 players will use a Classic FIFA 23 team from Kick- Off mode and will face a pure knockout tournament. These players will be split screen, sharing a Screen, desk and console.
