Partick Thistle can today confirm the signing of midfielder, Darian MacKinnon, until the end of the season from Hamilton Academical, subject to SFA approval.
The 34 year old arrives in Maryhill to bolster Ian McCall’s options in the middle of the park having captained Hamilton since July 2018.
Darian brings experience into the heart of the Jags team having spent the last eight years with Premiership side Hamilton Accies, establishing himself as a tough tackling midfielder in the Ladbrokes Premiership.
Thistle gaffer Ian McCall said:
“I’m delighted to bring Darian to the club as he is very different to the midfield options we currently have within the squad. He comes with a proven pedigree from the Premiership and a winning mentality which is vital for us to develop over the rest of the campaign. We have a number of younger players in the midfield area of the park and it was key for us to bring the right type of experience in to help them develop.”
