Yesterday afternoon we brought news of Thistle’s first signing of the summer with the addition of striker Ade Azeez.
This afternoon we are pleased to announce the signing, on a one year contract, of 18 year old defender David Syme, who joins the club from Kilmarnock.
David captained the Kilmarnock development squad on a number of occasions last season and has already gained experience at Ladbrokes Premiership level making his first team debut for the Ayrshire side in February 2015. He netted his first senior goal on his first start for the side in a 2-1 defeat to Motherwell in April 2015 and made five appearances in the conclusion of the 2014/15 season.
Last season saw David made six appearances for the Ayrshire club before injury brought his 2015/16 campaign to a premature halt.
